Meet The Member - Heather Campbell Heather migrated in 1952 from Belfast where Heather, her parents and siblings all lived in one room. The whole extended family made the move - first to Tasmania (near Queenstown) and then to Heidelberg where Heather came to know the Pratts. Heather took to teaching and then did real estate development and from there to hospitality in Carlton, back to teaching in English as second language and finally to manage the boarding house at Melbourne Girls Grammar up to her retirement.
Heather's commitment to community service, which was fostered by her father's creed of giving back to the society in which the family had enjoyed so much opportunity, sees her involved with the Office of the Public Advocate as a volunteer doing audits of supported accommodation, working with CWA in Alphington as well as her work in Rotary.
Thank you, Heather for sharing your story with us.

It is a Sunday to Wednesday residential program this year at Horsham. It aims to keep young people in rural communities by demonstrating the employment opportunities in their home area.
Stan Deans reminded us that we seek Year 10 & 11 students to attend the course and inspire them to take a career in agriculture, horticulture or animal husbandry. Think about the growers.
