Stories
Last Week's Program

Chair Bruce King was our skipper for the evening.
President David  reminded us that membership growth comes down to asking people we know to come along.
It was great to welcome back Simon Cavenett to our meetings with Simon now living back nearer Geelong.

District Conference Report
The recent District 9780 Conference at Warrnambool was a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, connect with friends from around the District, enjoy excellent food and world class entertainment and hear from people changed by global events and who are changing the global for good.
In coming weeks, the Bulletin will feature these people's stories.

Youth Service Committee Report
Chair Kris Adam brought us up to speed on events in this most important aspect of Rotary service and details will appear in next week's Bulletin.

Announcements, News and Help Required

Christ Church - More than Meals
Its our 5th Monday again on 30 April.
Alannah will co-ordinate our Club's fifth Monday Christ Church Meals shift in Jenny's absence.
If you would like to help out on Monday 30  April, please see Alannah.

Make Up Department

Because the Vocational visit to the CADET Centre at Deakin University was not a scheduled meeting, those who attended are eligble for a make up.
Members are asked not to notify their make ups on Whoozin.

Please notify your make ups to Satbir who then records the information and includes such in our report to the District.

Ride The Bellarine
Despite the bad weather and an unfortunate spill of some riders in the wet weather, The Ride The Bellarine event was a great fundraiser and public relations showcase for Rotary and polio eradication and many thanks to the members who volunteered from our Club.

Please pay your sponsorship money before 1 May to the Club cashier.

Andrew Thornton distinguished himself as not only a determined rider and fundraiser but as a source of assistance and comfort to the injured riders. Well done Andrew.

Celebrate the Club’s achievements in 2017 - 2018 and welcome the incoming Board and President at the Roll-over Dinner (when is a Change-over not a Change-over?......when it is a Roll-over) on  Tuesday July 3rd, 2018  in the function room of  The Hinchcliff Room, Eastern Hub 6:00 pm for 6:30 pm $30pp for a two course meal.
